Check out your local restaurants/taverns/bars etc., You can eat alot cheaper and some even have dry happy hr. with out having to purchase alcohol.


Have you ever checked out those food trailer carts? Normally it smells so good when I walk by, but have yet to buy food. I hear most of the food is more authentic and is very welled priced.


How about calling your local senior citizen center? Ask if they have a local thrift store. Normally you can get bread free with a small donation. I've gotten bags of nearly expired bread that I may have to use in a day or two, but its so well worth the price. My local senior thrift store also gives cakes, pastrys, pickles and more!
